Indonesian Gado Gado

With a little bit of everything on the plate, this Gado Gado mixture is great because of it's combination of flavors, all tied together with a delectable peanut sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup white rice
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1.5 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce

Instructions:

1. bring 2 cups of water to a boil, add the rice and let it simmer for 20 minutes

2. in a separate pot, bring another 2 cups of water to a boil, then add the green beans and steam for 10 minutes or until ready

3. in a food processor or blender, combine the peanut butter, garlic, sugar, and hot sauce to form the peanut sauce. Add a little water if necessary

4. Slice the vegetables

5. Combine all the ingredients and enjoy!
