Chinese Broccoli Stir Fry

The fiberous texture of broccoli combined with the crunchy sesame seeds adds excellent depth to this super simple recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brown rice
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions:

1. Bring a cup of water to a boil and add the rice

2. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, or until desired consistency

3. chop the onions and cook on high heat for 5 minutes

4. add the broccoli and carrots and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat

5. add the snow peas and cook for 5 minutes more

6. top with sesame seeds and the hot sauce of your choice
